Joseph was introduced to addiction recovery through his own personal struggles. His success in addiction treatment sparked his passion for helping others. Joseph is a Detoxification and Residential Technician, working towards his alcohol and drug counseling certification. His counseling approach involves building rapport, to enhance his clients’ motivation to change.
Joseph shares, “My passion for recovery is personal and rooted in my recovery community. I’ve seen where poor mental health and addiction can lead. As a San Francisco native, and a Los Angeles transplant, I see a need for competent addiction treatment services and seek to meet that need. This drive comes from my own success and desire to see others flourish in a way they never thought possible. Helping others provides a sense of fulfillment and pride in what I do.”
